Labour "deliberately let migrants in to make Britain more multicultural and so Tories could be accused of racism"
Ministers today faced calls for an inquiry into claims that their open-door immigration policy was designed to make Britain more multicultural and allow Labour to portray the Tories as racists. A former Labour adviser alleged that the Government opened up Britain's borders in part to try to humiliate Right-wing opponents of immigration. The Conservatives said that if true, the claim demonstrated 'disgracefully irresponsible' decision-making and called for an investigation.
Former Labour minister Frank Field said: 'I am speechless at the idea that people thought they could socially engineer a nation on this basis.' The Daily Mail reported on Saturday the controversial claims by Andrew Neather, who worked for Tony Blair and Jack Straw.
He said Labour's relaxation of immigration controls in 2000 was a deliberate attempt to engineer a 'truly multicultural' country and plug gaps in the jobs market. He said the 'major shift' in immigration policy was inspired by a 2001 policy paper from the Performance and Innovation Unit, a Downing Street think-tank based in the Cabinet Office. Civil servant Jonathan Portes, who wrote the immigration report, was a speechwriter for Gordon Brown and is now an aide to Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O'Donnell.

This scummy action angers me to the core. This has been the reason behind the lack of a referendum on Europe. Anyone that says anything about immigration is branded a racist. Well, frankly, call me a racist because I want this immigration stopped now. White, brown, pink, yellow, polka dot, stop them all. We can't cope with the numbers. There's no policy to cope with any of the demands created by this disgraceful act. These anti British Labour MPs and this Government should be charged with the destruction of a nation's identity. Britain as a whole and England in particular. Jack Straw couldn't even admit that their immigration policy was the reason that the BNP has gained so many votes. He just evaded the question on Question Time spouting a load of diatribe. Any fool knows that the answer is yes, their policy is the root cause of BNP gains. Now this revelation about their social engineering has emerged, the BNP will gain even more votes. Clearly the BNP aren't the answer as such quoted views on the Holocaust show them to be totally out of touch with reality. However, unless another party, perhaps UKIP, take up the reigns of a tough stance towards this ludicrous immigration situation, more and more people will vent their anger and create the very real prospect of a BNP MP in Westminster.
